This was written about my favourite nan who was seriously ill in hospital at the time of writing and I just wanted to say thankyou to her.

So many memories,
What fun we’ve had,
The special times,
Made me so glad.

You were there for me,
Right from the start,
You held me so close,
Next to your heart.

We went to the park,
We played on the swings,
You helped me to make,
All my favourite things.

We sang songs together,
Me and you,
You cheered me up,
When I was feeling blue.

You read me stories,
When it was time for bed,
You tucked me into sleep,
You kissed my forehead.

I just want to thank you,
For being here for me,
You’re the greatest nan,
There ever could be.
